THE GLASSWORKS
The Glassworks is a development of three bespoke town houses on the site of the former Harrogate Glass premises.
Located on the corner of Back Harlow Moor Drive and Artisan Street, it is less than 100 metres from the entrance to the Valley Gardens, and the many independent shops, restaurants and artisan bars on Cold Bath Road.
The building is built in ICF (Insulated Concrete Form by Nudura, robust polystyrene and concrete blocks seen on programmes like Grand Designs) for optimum insulation values and sound insulation. The windows, sliding doors and bi-fold doors are supplied by Express Bi-folds with sound insulated glass units in the bedroom windows.
To complement the high energy efficient construction method, the properties have been fitted with wet under floor heating on all floors, with digital temperature controls in each of the habitable zones.
